SHAKE IT OFF: the ERAS dance community came about during all of the magical energy & joy that Taylor Swift’s ERAS tour has brought to so many people thus far in the USA and now, internationally.
So I thought why not try to create a similar vibe in London? A positive, inclusive ‘wedding / concert like’ energy in an enchanting atmosphere connecting people together while dancing to great music. All centered around kindness, positivity, fun, sparkles and friendship bracelets. A space to wear what you feel good in and be your true self. All the things that the ERAS tour has given us & more✨
Movement in community is medicine for the soul - this is about the joy of movement through Taylor Swift songs and all the feels (& fun dance moves) that her music brings. You don't have to be a dancer (or even love TS music) - anyone and everyone is welcome✨

My name is Heather - I am originally from the USA now living in London with my husband. You can sometimes find us at the pub where we are watching rugby with his school friends✨
A sensitive soul, a pathological people pleaser, a deep feeler - I know what it’s like being happy, free, confused and lonely at the same time (it’s miserable & magical)✨
I truly believe in the hidden and healing power of kindness, inclusivity, movement and being together in a fun & positive community. A space to let out our playful childlike spirits and dance to music in a beautiful venue. That’s why I thought there is no better time to start SHAKE IT OFF: the ERAS dance community.
I am a certified EMD UK group fitness instructor (2021 - present) and a previous qualified Zumba instructor (2011 - 2017).
