FAQs

✨What is the dance style format?✨

It’s a 1.5 hour dance session in a ‘Zumba’ like format - each song will have simple repetitive moves to the beat (including fun dance moves from the ERAS tour). A few moves will have different levels so you can choose the level that is best appropriate for you / what feels good.

✨What age or level is most appropriate?✨

Truly anyone and everyone - this is not about your level of expertise, your age, your background or whether you have ‘rhythm’ (two left feet are very welcome)! This is about getting a group of amazing and diverse people together in person to dance to soul-filled music in a beautiful atmosphere. If you are a TS fan, sing your heart out. If you‘re not a huge fan or don’t know the words, it doesn’t matter (you will still feel the joy).

✨How often are the dance classes?✨

Once per month (for now). Currently, all classes / events take place at Jackson’s Lane - Highgate, North London. Please contact me if you would like to request a class in a different location or would like more classes offered.

✨Is it only Taylor Swift music?✨

Yes! The ERAS dance community is based around her fun & energetic ‘eras’ music, catchy phrases, easy to learn dance moves, friendship bracelets, sparkles & more. If you don’t love her music (although I fully believe there is an ‘era’ everyone connects to), you can still enjoy the overall vibe & atmosphere. You can read more about how I hope this community will expand here

✨What is a Swiftie and do you have to be one to join in on the fun?✨

A Swiftie is someone who is a true Tay Tay Swizzle fan - knows most (if not all) of her lyrics * understands what ‘easter eggs’ are * heart hands * 13 * friendship bracelets (& loves sharing them) * is not afraid to show that real self-expression in every song * focuses on spreading kindness / joy wherever they are. There is no requirement to be a Swiftie - we are all about inclusivity. Although you might be tempted after joining the ERAS dance community…
